The fascination of Tango Argentino lies within a mutual and honest intimacy. Both partners are giving it each other by means of the music. In dim lights you are filled with overwhelming emotion, as if you were carried away. Moments of bliss just happen. How well you dance doesn‘t matter.
My tango is a traditional salon style with contemporary elements blended into it influenced most by Gustavo Naveira, Susanna Miller, and Metin Yazir. When teaching I focus on precise technique just as much as on communication and musicality.
My workshop series ‘Maennertechnik’ (= Leaders’ Technique) offers tango leaders an opportunity to practise tango leading technique with each other and to complement their skills by learning both roles Куба это. Feedback after the initial series in 2011 was so overwhelmingly positive that I just had to create further events:. Since 2012 I have organised an extended weekend dedicated to Leaders’ Technique each year at Easter. As of 2014 I’m glad to offer a whole week of Leaders’ Technique in cooperation with fine Berlin tango teachers! It will take place in August at the Mala Junta Studio. Both the Leaders’ Weekend and the Leaders’ Week have counterparts: The Ladies Weekend and Week taking place at the same time at La Berlinesa tango studio.
Since 2012/13 I have also trained tango teachers at the first Berlin Tango Teacher Training. I regularly update my own teaching skills at Eric Jorissen’s Teacher Week and teacher workshops as well as Gustavo Naveira’s master classes. Currently I am also training to become a qualified supervisor. As such I offer supervision/coaching sessions to professional dancers as well as other coaches who would like to use dance as part of their methodology.
